"Huh, that's a pretty neat decor, isn't it?" Farrah glanced down to Decibel, who seemed a little more tense about the mask than Farrah did. A moment later, they looked back, confused. Oh woah - woah it moved. That was unexpected. Elegy rumbled a little bit in curiosity, his tail waggling and making the entire fire engine on him move side to side with it.
Farrah grinned a moment later. It was a Pokemon! And a spooky lookin' one at that. "Lookit you with those gorgeous eyes," the trainer said cheerfully. Baleful and bright and they... kind of reminded Farrah of Posie's Phantump. That same slow cold chill crawling down their spine. "You wild? Wanna come with us, perhaps?" Was always worth a shot - and if it wasn't wild, perhaps Farrah could help it get back to wherever it's trainer was. She pulled a ball from somewhere on her belt, holding it up to the Yamask. "Your mask... it seems melancholy, in a way. It's interesting. Here - if you wanna come with, if you're on your own... you know how it goes. Just a tap away."
Farrah attempts to catch the Yamask!

[googlefont=Grandstander] The Yamask considers your offer, running a tendril over its mask as you compliment it. Then it leans forward and swings its mask into the Pokeball's button. Flash -- and the Yamask rests comfortably in the Pokeball, ready to accompany you through the rest of the maze, and the rest of life. Congratulations! You caught the Yamask. With the capture complete, you look down the hall to see what your options are now. Looking forward, the hall ends in a right turn; there's also an opening on the left you could take. Behind you is a dead end, but if you turned around, there would be openings on the left and right you could go through -- and the one on the left would take you back the way you came. Do you a) take the right turn at the end of the hall; b) take the opening on the left; c) turn around, then take the opening on the right; or d) turn around, then take the opening on the left, going back the way you came? Please be sure to add Yamask's statblock to your tracker!Yamask // Level 1 // female Max HP | Attack | Defense | Speed | 8 | 8 | 15 | 6 |

Farrah grinned to themselves quietly as they squeezed the pokeball gently. Another teammate, and one who was absolutely amazing at that. Nice! Even if something very.... unsettling trembled through them as they placed the ball back on their belt. Decibel's tail was wagging too now in slow sweeping motions, pleased about his trainer's own happiness. "Alright then! Onwards and upwards," she nodded. "Let's not stop now."
With a chorus of happy noises from the three Pokemon, the group continued on ahead without turning back - to the opening on the left that was in front of them! Elegy had his nose to the ground sniffing about, and Rhapsody was happily bumping along with sugar-induced adorable growling. This was such a fun time! Candy and a new teammate!

Taking the opening on the left, you immediately pass another opening on your left -- but you manage to hit just the right angle to glimpse a bowl of candy inside, so you investigate and find that it's a dead end, with +1 Quick Candy waiting for you.
Then you continue past the dead end, around a U-shaped bend in the hall, where you find an opening on your left. Alternately, you could continue down the hall, where there's an immediate left turn.
Do you a) take the opening on the left, b) take the left turn at the end of the hall, or c) go back?

More candy to fill up in Farrah's bag! The three Pokemon seemed sated and unbothered, cheerfully milling around and following the devil as she paused to retrieve the treats before continuing. "Remember to share when we're home, kids," they murmured. Elegy huffed in reply, trotting down the hall and around the corner like a little wiggly fire truck zooming down the lane.
Rhapsody bumped into Farrah's leg as they rounded the corner - and in her confusion nibbled at Farrah's ankles, which caused a faint laugh in surprise (and ouch) as they skittered to the side, before leaning down to pat the Deino. "Careful there, sweetheart. Not everything's edible, yeah?" She growled happily in reply, and then Decibel was nudging at her flank to get her to continue along, the long trail of white fabric atop him draping along the floor.
"That seemed to pull us right back the way we came," Farrah said. "Different of course, but hm." They seemed to be having such luck going into these little alcoves. Why stop now? With a pleasant little spooky tune hummed under their breath, Farrah beckoned to their team, and the four took the first opening available to them.
Farrah and Co. take route A - take the opening on the left!

Taking the opening on the left, you go around a bend, take a right turn -- and come to a dead end. At least there's candy! You get +1 Mighty Candy.
You turn around and come out of the dead end, ending up where you were before you took it. Looking to the left, you're now at the right angle to see that the left turn at the end of this little hallway actually just leads to a small alcove, with another bowl of candy -- including +1 Health Candy.
Now that you've explored every option here, you retrace your steps a bit, rounding the bend you came through to stand at a hall that ends in a T-shaped intersection. There's also an opening on your right that you could take. If you went right at the T, you would be going back the way you came to this section of the maze; going left, however, would take you into unexplored territory.
Do you a) take the opening on your right, b) take a left at the end of the hall, or c) take a right at the end of the hall (go back)?

More and more treats for the bag as it were! Farrah offered a warm smile to their Pokemon. "I think the others are gonna be very happy with the three of you for bringing them treats, don't you?" They thought for a moment as the four continued retracing their steps down the hall. "How do you think Mosh will like them?"
Decibel let out a sharp huff of derision. He could work with the serpent but the two continued to dislike each other massively. He thought the snake would just spit at it. Or try to take whoever offered it's entire hand or paw too. Rotten predator. Farrah found herself chuckling at the salty expression on the Zigzagoon's face. "Aw, it won't be that bad bud. Maybe it'll be a peace offering between the two of you."
Elegy yipped in agreement. Rhapsody rumbled quietly - she wasn't too sure who these other Pokemon were, yet! There were a few she hadn't met. And it didn't help not being able to see them and all. "Well," Farrah said as they reached the hall they'd been through previously. "I suppose we should check this last entry here before we head back, right? There's still another path we haven't yet explored that direction, afterall... but here - c'mon y'all!" Curiously, the quartet approached the entry to the right, wondering what could be just behind the bend!
Farrah and Co. take route A - the opening on the right!

Checking the opening on the right, you find that it turns back on itself and dead-ends immediately -- but at least there's a bowl of candy! You get +1 Quick Candy.
Coming out of the dead end, you move up to the T-shaped intersection. To your right is the way you came, including the spot where you met the Yamask. To your left is unexplored territory that takes an immediate left turn.
Do you a) go left or b) go right (back the way you came)?

More treats was never a bad thing, and nobody in Farrah's company nor themselves were certainly going to complain about it. Bag yet again a bit heavier, they continued on to the T-intersection. Rubbing a hand across the back of their neck, Farrah looked both ways before chuckling. "Well, at this point there's only one way to go, isn't there?"
Elegy barked again cheerfully and took off down the left way, Decibel and Rhapsody hot on his stubby little tail! With another soft huff of amusement, Farrah followed along behind after readjusting a bit of their costume. There was quite a bit of luck they'd had today, and a lot of fun. Time to see where they kept going for now.
Farrah and Co. decide on route A - go left!

You go left, take a right turn, and enter a T-shaped intersection -- but to your left there's only a dead end, so you head right, taking a left turn through an opening and coming out into another hallway. The first thing you notice is that there's a dead end to your right -- but a dead end with a bowl of candy in it. You get +1 Tough Candy!
Then you turn back around and look down the hallway to decide where to go next. There's a dead-end alcove to your left; beyond that on the left is the opening you came through. Opposite that, on the right side of the hallway, is another opening. And straight ahead of you, the hallway ends in a right turn.
Do you a) take the right turn at the end of the hallway, b) take the opening to the right, or c) take the opening to the left (going back)?

As they all kept walking, Farrah found that she was carrying the little Deino again; Rhapsody had a lot of energy for a young Pokemon, but she could only do so much before she got tuckered out, still being young with her disability. Farrah didn't mind - that was part of raising Pokemon afterall! And it was nice to get to bond and come out to celebrate the season. "Hang in there, lil' one, you're doin' okay," Farrah smiled faintly at Rhapsody, who tucked her head against her trainer's arm.
Decibel rubbed his cheek against Farrah's legs as they walked, making a gentle noise at his trainer affectionately. The trainer grinned back down at them as they walked, and Elegy slowed to meander alongside as well. "Happy halloween to you two as well," they said. Cheerfully, they all continued down along the path together. It had been a great day and a lot of fun! They weren't sure just how far out they were from the end - it seemed to go on forever - but it was wonderful nonetheless!
Farrah and Co. take route A - the right turn at the end of the hallway (to the end of the thread!)

Before you can progress any further through the maze, a loud bell rings from outside, and you hear someone call over the walls: "I'm afraid your time is up! It's time for someone else to take their turn in the maze. Don't worry about finding your way out -- we'll send someone to come get you."
And indeed they do, a lab assistant coming to find you in the maze -- made easy by the fact that from the top of the arena's stands, they can see down into it and not only locate it but find the ideal path to reach you. They escort you out, congratulating you on the candy you've found and consoling you for not finishing the maze.
Since you didn't finish your maze, you're not in the running to win the grand prize, the Leftovers. But you get to keep all the candy you won!
Please add your winnings to your tracker (you can put them under "held items" or make a new section for them), and use the level-up thread to let us know when you'd like to apply them to your Pokemon.
