Tracker and PC Guidelines | ||
I. The Basics Trackers/PCs are vital for both members and staff. They place all a character's most important information in the same location and acts as an updated hub. In other words, your character's tracker acts as a character profile that can be updated over time and can log your character's progression. It also tracks your character's items and pokémon. It is preferred that your tracker/PC are located in the same thread, with your character tracker as the first post and each post after being your pokémon's information and (most importantly) their stat blocks. II. Trackers Generally speaking, how you organize your tracker is entirely up to you. We recommend linking your profile and plotter in it, as well as tracking your character's items, gym badges, and/or certificates. Everything else inside the tracker is entirely up to you! Some people prefer to track every thread their character is in or only the finished ones. If you want to do this, but also want to save room, be sure to utilize the [spoiler*][*/spoiler] tag! III. The Personal Computer (PC) The only hard and fast rule with your character's tracker/plotter is that each pokémon has their own post in your tracker. This is for staff's ease and because you can link directly to a post in a thread (which is helpful when it comes to linking to your pokémon's post for them to be leveled-up or evolved). You are free to stylize your pokémon's posts in whatever way you wish; however, you must have your pokémon's staff-given stat block in a code tag. This stat block does not have to be anywhere else on your pokémon's post, but it has to be in the code tags. This saves staff a lot of time and energy. You are not allowed to alter or redesign the staff-given staff block that is located in the tags. You are, however, free to make your own stat block to display with your pokémon if you so choose (but the stats staff give you must be the same). This staff-given stat block located in the code tags must be updated each level-up or evolution. It is not staff' responsibility to hunt for previous level-ups or revolutions. If you forget and staff update your stats wrong, this is on you to catch. You may then notify staff of the problem and we will fix it.
