Rebecca & - Mimida--- The cat hadn't liked the treat; Rebecca should have expected that, given that the treat had indeed been designed for a bird. She grimaced in sympathy as the Litten stuck out his tongue. "Sorry, I guess that didn't taste great."It only made sense that Rebecca didn't really know how to handle a cat, since her focus had always been on birds. She took out a Safari Ball, considering whether to even try to catch the Litten. She knew they were rather rare Pokemon, but she didn't think one would fit on her team. "Well, I'm sorry I don't have any treats you like," Rebecca said, coming to a decision: she put the Safari Ball away. "I hope this helped a little, anyway. Have a nice day!"Though it occurred to her that the Litten's day might include hunting birds, so maybe she shouldn't say that. Indeed, Mimida glared at the cat and expressed her own disagreement with a "Gee!"

Morning || Clear A Wild Salandit Appeared! You have 3 action(s) to take. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
The litten meowed in goodbye and brushed up against Rebecca's legs before running off to enjoy the rest of his day. Humans weren't all bad, he thought. Sometimes, they were nice.
As Rebecca continued on her hike, there was another pokemon on the path, enjoying one of the many hot, flat-rocks that were commonplace in this mountain range. The lizard opened one of his eyes lazily, eyeing the bird in the sky and the human approaching. He finally opened his eyes fully and watched them, his tail giving a lazy wave as he stood up, stretched, and yawned before flopping back down on the rock. He was a lazy pokemon, but curious about this human and her companion in the sky.
But he couldn't be bothered to get up and greet them or anything. He was digesting his breakfast for that day and, well, he was a lizard on a hot rock. What did you want from him? What will you do?

Rebecca & - Mimida--- Oh, a ... lizard Pokemon. Yeah, Rebecca didn't really know that much about a lot of non-bird Pokemon. She assumed this one was, uh, maybe Fire type? Or Dark? Pulling out her Pokedex, she started looking the Pokemon up, while telling it, "Hello! I'm just looking to see who you are."And maybe if it had any winged evolutions ... "Salandit," she read aloud from her Pokedex. "You give off poisonous gas, and female Salandits emit pheromones that attract males of all species ..."According to her Pokedex, this Salandit was a male. Not that a female's pheromones would have much effect on Rebecca and her team, after all; they were all girls, something Rebecca had never really noticed before. Presumably someday they would add a male Pokemon to the roster -- but not this male Pokemon, Rebecca suspected, as she didn't really have any interest in raising a wingless Salandit. "It was nice to meet you," she told the Salandit politely. "I hope you have a nice day."And then she kept walking -- an action that earned Mimida's approval. Best not to mess around with strange lizards.
Moving on without a capture attempt! [googlefont=Martel][googlefont=Cookie]

Morning || Clear A Wild Charmander Appeared! You have 3 action(s) to take. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
The salandit was more than happy for the human to pass on by, it simply meant he could return to his nap and enjoy the rest of his day. Of course, that didn't mean the adventure with lizards was over. Going deeper into the ragged cliffs of the mountains presented one fiery lizard.
He was walking along, picking up interesting looking rocks to later drop from various high distances to see what would happen. It wasn't the best hobby but it was a hobby nonetheless. He was rather surprised to see a human this deep into the range. Usually, the only ones he saw were those that worse strange uniforms and had ropes and very specific pokemon on them. They also took some rocks and then put them in weird tubes and stuff. It was weird! But this human didn't seem to be doing that.
The charmander gave a friendly wave with a free claw before picking up another rock and offering it to the human as a peace offering between their kinds. What will you do?

Rebecca & - Mimida--- Rebecca was a little surprised to see a Charmander -- she knew they were rare -- and even more surprised to be offered a rock by one. But, not wanting to be rude, she took it and examined it. "Thank you, this is very nice."She felt like she ought to give a gift in return, so she took the treats from her bag and offered one to the Charmander. She just hoped that the Charmander would find this treat more appealing than the Litten had. Meanwhile, Mimida landed on a nearby boulder, tilting her head to look at the Charmander. That wasn't a bird ... Why was Rebecca wasting her time on this lizard and his rocks? Hadn't Mimida just thought that they should leave the lizards alone? She didn't say anything, not wanting to get involved in this encounter, but she did watch, unimpressed.

Morning || Clear That had a strong positive reaction! You have 2 action(s) to take. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
Oh! A gift in return! The charmander happily gobbled down the treat, absolutely loving it. He gave a happy cry and a little dance in appreciation, holding his rocks carefully and giving a bright grin. His tail even seemed to grow brighter in the joy that Becca had brought to him. This was a very nice human, yes! That was good. The charmander's parents spoke of different types of humans and he was so happy to see that this human was one of the good ones!
He looked around, wondering if his parents could come meet this lovely human, but he didn't seem them. That didn't mean he didn't feel their eyes on him though. They were always watching, always vigilant. But if they had no issue with this stranger and her bird, then neither did he!
The charmander tilted his head at the human. Now what? He didn't know enough about humans to know how to interact with them beyond giving a rock or two. At least peace has been made between humans and charmanders, yup yup!
What will you do?

Rebecca & - Mimida--- Rebecca grinned at the Charmander's joy, glad that her gift was so well-received. He was cute! And he evolved in to Charmeleon, which evolved into Charizard, which was ... sort of bird-like? It had wings, anyway. She also suspected, knowing how rare Charmanders were, that if he didn't find a good home with her, plenty of others would be interested in adopting him. So she took a Safari Ball out of her bag and offered it to the Charmander. "I don't suppose you'd like to come with us?" she asked. "I could get you more berries, and you could see the world with us ... Or another trainer, if you'd prefer. But you don't have to, of course. I know you probably have a nice home here."She continued to hold the ball out, waiting for the Charmander's decision.

Morning || Clear The Charmander decided to stay in the wild. Shoot! A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
He considered the offer, but ultimately... he shook his head. No, he wanted to stay with his parents, but he did appreciate the offer of berries and, if he understood humans correctly, friendship. But his parents were around here and he worried they would be upset if he left! That would not be fair for the human at all, to have some angry charizard breathing down her neck.
So, with a polite head bow and a large smile, he continued on with collecting his rocks, wishing them the best of luck on their adventures. He had his own adventures to look forward to as well, but that didn't mean they wouldn't one day meet again! Who knew, maybe he'd evolve one day and go try and say hi to her and give her some more rocks!

Rebecca & - Mimida--- A perfectly kind and valid rejection; Rebecca put the Pokeball away, almost feeling a little relieved. After all, if the Charmander had accepted, she would have been responsible for his well-being, and as nice as he seemed, he also appeared ... a little less self-reliant than Galla or Mimida? Rebecca wasn't sure she would have been the right trainer for him, even if he had chosen to join her. "It was nice to meet you," she called after the departing Charmander, as she'd done with the Salandit. It just felt polite. "Have a nice day!"Then she continued on her hike up the mountain, Mimida wheeling through the sky above her. Maybe further up they'd find some more birds? [googlefont=Martel][googlefont=Cookie]

Morning || Clear A wild Larvesta appeared! You have 3 action(s) to take. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
The journey further up the mountain did not leave to a bird exactly. There were a few birds, but they were currently fleeing from a ball of fire that sat perfectly happy on the ground. By the time the predators had fled, the flame died down to reveal a bug pokemon, sitting on the ground with an expression of relief and also aggravation. Ugh! Why did birds keep trying to eat her? She would not taste good!
Her eyes moved to spy a human and another bird. She narrowed her gaze at them and turned to face them, flames starting to gather along her body again, but not in a threatening manner. More in a way to express curiosity and to see if this human had control over her bird pokemon. If so, well, that would be mighty fine. If not, then this little bug would scorch some feathers to keep herself from being eaten!

Rebecca & - Mimida--- Mimida spotted the large larva sitting on the ground before Rebecca did. She was tempted to swoop down and try for an easy snack, but she'd seen that ball of flame, and she didn't feel like getting singed today. Instead she landed on Rebecca's shoulder and pointed her beak at the Larvesta. "Gee."What Mimida really wanted was for Rebecca to neutralize the Larvesta's flames so she could get a snack. Instead Rebecca examined the Larvesta from a safe distance. "Wow, you sure can do fire," Rebecca said, a bit meaninglessly. Larvesta's flames made her a little nervous, honestly. She glanced at Mimida. "We won't try to tangle with you, will we? After all, battles aren't allowed here. And we wouldn't want to bother you anyway."Mimida sighed. No snack, then.

Morning || Clear That had a strong negative reaction! You have 2 action(s) to take. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
Yeah right! The larvesta's flames began to spout along her body again, eyes narrowed on that bird. She wasn't about to trust someone with a bird, especially not one that looked as hungry as that one. The larvesta was not a fool! She knew birds only cared about themselves and had no qualms snuffing out the life of innocent bugs everywhere! Sure, part of it was nature, but the larvesta had seen horrible things in her time. Not that she had much of that anyway. She knew once she evolved no bird could take her down, but right now she was too small! Too vulnerable!
She glared at the human and bird with pure fiery venom, ready to defend herself. Not that she was going to move from this spot. She had to keep her eyes on that bird! There was no way she was taking any chances here! A human and a bird... it would take a lot more for her to even consider trusting this pair at this moment!

Rebecca & - Mimida--- Rebecca stepped back as flames gathered more strongly along Larvesta's body. Clearly this Pokemon did not like Rebecca or her bird; Mimida chirped in alarm. Neither she nor Rebecca wanted to go any closer and risk being burned. "We'll just, uh, leave you alone then," Rebecca told the Larvesta, retreating down the slope -- slowly, keeping her eyes on Larvesta, when she wasn't checking her footing. Man, what would it take to find some bird Pokemon? Maybe it just wasn't meant to be today. Perhaps the mountains hadn't been the best place to look after all.

Morning || Clear Your thread is now completed! Please write one more post explaining how you exit the area and mark it with FINISHED somewhere in the thread. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
The bug watched carefully as the human and the horrific bird left the area. There, finally safe... the bug crawled under some rocks to rest for the rest of the day, scorching some rare weeds to create a sort of burnt gate to protect them while they slept. When a prey creature you could never be too cautious.
Curling up, she was ready for a good, long sleep.
The zone's sun had been moving the entire time, clearly stating how much time had passed inside the building, mimicking the time outside perfectly. And now, there was a cold burst of air from the northern area and there was the scent of rain as the storm that was raining upon the jungle in the southwest began to move closer towards the mountains, ready to bless the desert nearby in a small amount of water before rushing upon the stone of the mountains.
It was time to go home.

Rebecca & - Mimida--- The wind rushed past Rebecca, tearing at her hair, and she looked up to see the gathering storm. For a moment she watched Mimida ride its gusts; then she realized that if the wind got much stronger, it would be dangerous to both the Pidgey and her trainer -- not to mention how miserable the rain might make them. Yes, it was time to leave. "Come on, Mimida," Rebecca called. "Let's go back to the visitors' center."Mimida considered Rebecca's decision for a moment, choosing whether to follow along herself -- after all, she rather enjoyed riding the winds. But despite that enjoyment, she could tell that she wouldn't like the foul weather to come. So she dropped out of the sky onto Rebecca's shoulder as the human started for home. ||FINISHED|| [googlefont=Martel][googlefont=Cookie]
