| Trading, Gifting, and Release Request |
|
|
|
|
| Please review the trading, gifting, and release guidelines before placing a request. Trading Guidelines Overview:- All trades are 1-to-1. You can trade between characters if you post with your OOC account.
- Both you and your trade partner will need to verify the trade (they will just need to respond to your request with a confirmation). For trades between your characters, there is no special confirmation that needs to be done.
- Do not delete a pokémon's tracker post! Staff will do this once we verify and process the trade and once everyone verifies they have their new pokémon's stats.
- Trades do not cost anything and there are no special requirements other than everyone agrees.
- Everyone must have one pokémon to their name before trades can be done. This means you cannot trade pokémon if a character only has one pokémon.
- You cannot trade all pokémon to a new character's account or trade a new character's only pokémon to an established account (as in, trying to use a new character to get a pokémon for your established character). Doing so will result in a warning and your characters being banned from trading with each other. If it happens a second time, you will be banned.
- Some pokémon cannot be traded without a valid reason (such as retiring a character or a in-lore reason that passes staff's muster). These pokémon include: Type: Null, Ultra Beasts, Legendaries, Mythical pokémon, etc. The site reason is that these pokémon usually decide to go with a specific trainer. If they chose to go with you and only you, why would they want to go to someone else that hasn't earned their respect?

Gifting Guidelines Overview:- Gifting is different than trading a pokémon in the sense that someone if giving up a pokémon and not getting one back. Before gifting a pokémon, please review the rules below very carefully. All gifts must be approved by staff before anyone adds pokémon to their trackers. You CAN gift between your own characters, but you are still beholden to all the rules.
- You can only gift/receive one pokémon once every two real life weeks. This means if you gift/receive one pokémon, you cannot gift/receive another one for two weeks. This cool down can be increased or decreased at any time via staff's discretion.
- You cannot gift pokémon that are over 5 levels stronger than someone's strongest pokémon. This means if someone only has level 1 pokémon, you cannot gift them a level 6+ pokémon. You can gift a level 2-5 pokémon, but nothing higher than 5.
- You CANNOT gift your last pokémon, as in if you gift that pokémon you are left with no pokémon. This is only ignored if the character is being retired and will never return to the site.
- Some pokémon cannot be gifted without a valid reason (such as retiring a character or a in-lore reason that passes staff's muster). Likewise, the gifted pokémon cannot be 6+ levels higher than the receiver's strongest pokémon.
Release Guidelines Overview:- If you no longer want a pokémon you can release them. You must have more than one pokémon to release them (as in, you cannot release the only pokémon you have).
- Releasing a pokémon gives you an EXP reward equivalent to their level multiplied by two. Ex: if you release a level 30 pokémon, you get 60 EXP.
- Released pokémon go into a list kept by staff. Pokémon in this list may be made into encounters for the site (the pokémon may also have changed since being released). You can opt out of this. If you opt out, your pokémon will be deleted from the site and cannot be encountered again.
- You can release more than one pokémon at a time. Just add each of their tracker links to the form.
