The ship was sturdy enough to sail through the vicious waves and harsh winds that surrounded the island. There had been some questions about why no one ever took pokemon out here and the answer was simple to see: it was just far too dangerous. Since entering the stormy waters, not a single water or flying pokemon had been seen. The old wooden dock looked as if it was going to rot away against the waves, but it was the only way to get to the island from the boat unless someone wanted to test the dangerous riptides. Which, of course, the crew would not allow. They were as aware of the visitor's rules as the trainers allowed to come here: no harming any pokemon (capturing is okay) and you have to leave the island after three hours. The ship would blow its fog horn and, if the trainers did not report back, they would be found and forcefully dragged away. All and all it was a good deal, given the mysteries of Salve Island and its recent explosion and fire that had rocked the region, followed by Professor Yew's death. It was all just... a bit off, but the free luxury balls (which usually cost an arm and a leg) sure were nice. Either way... it was time to take advantage of these three hours and explore the island, right? A Wild Pokemon Appeared!

The new, sopping wet trainer was hugging his arms close to his chest, head low against the wind. Granted, in his arms was his dear starter, Ancillary. The pichu was noticeably less wet, held within his rain coat as he pushed through the poor weather. A mailman has to be able to endure any weather conditions! This was just training for himself, to make sure he could handle himself before training Ancillary. She had to have a reliable trainer after all! Not to mention, getting a pokemon here from Salve? It would have to be fate, considering his grand plans for the region. For now, he should probably press further toward trees for better cover. Just because he should be able to handle weather, DOESN'T mean he should be entirely stupid about this. Pichu // Level 1 // Female Max HP | Attack | Defense | Speed | 4

Night || Storm The beach was mostly sparse with any signs of life due to the vicious storm, but there was one pokemon that had wandered out of the tree line in search of some food. An Abra! The pokemon was not floating, which was odd for itself... maybe the rain was causing some problems. Instead, it was walking out of the tree line with a stick, poking around under berry bushes and trees to see if anything had fallen due to the storm. Though, the Abra soon recognized the human and the pokemon as intruders on the island. The Abra stood there, looking a bit... confused. Or as confused as the fox-eyed pokemon could be. Its tail swished from side to side as it looked back at the safety of the woods, then to the human. Woods? Human. Woods? Maybe... Though the human looked soaked to the bone already and this was not great weather and it was dark and... well, the pokemon had always wondered what went through people's minds. From those that were here before the explosion to now. Why would anyone in their right mind even come here? That was the best questions. After all it was raining. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!

Jett and Ancillary just... stared for a little bit. Odd... but, frankly, he didn't have too much time to waste. He was serious about this journey he was embarking on! He had a goal in mind, and he was going to prove to Deprin! The whole of Deprin was going to see it for themselves!
He pointed to the Abra with a determined expression, ignoring the rain that pelted against them all.
"HELLO," He declared loudly over the rain, "I HAVE GOALS AND SNACKS. I HAVE TO BEFRIEND YOU." For many reasons that he was not going to elaborate on to the wild Abra. That's for after befriending them.

Night || Storm Well! That sure was... something. The abra looked very confused, but intrigued. The human was just... screaming at him. Not anything rude or aggressive or rude or anything. If anything there was the offer for food, which sure would be nice. The abra's stomach was grumbling and the other pokemon seemed to have gotten most of the berries from the forest already. Curiously, the abra approached a bit, dragging its tail through the sand. Not too close, mind you, but close enough to show the human that he was listening, mostly for the possibility of snacks. Food was always good and made bonding with others a lot easier. Now it was in the human's hands... what were they going to do (or yell over the storm) this time? A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
