The Safari Zone
Welcome to the Safari Zone! This massive building has been built and prepared with the comfort and welfare of Pokemon in mind, as well as the safety of visitors! Wild Pokemon are free to come and go as they please, wandering in and out through special entrances and exits built into the very foundation. Here, Pokemon of all kinds will find their every need cared for while stimulating the proper environment found in the wild. From weather events to a day-night cycle, the Safari Zone has it all!
Developed by Salve Co. as part of their Pokemon conservation efforts, the Safari Zone holds many of Deprin's rarer Pokemon. Because such Pokemon can be hard to spot and capture in the wild, Salve Co. has decided to open up the Safari Zone for both research and trainer purposes. Everyone is allowed entrance to the Safari Zone to explore a simulated wilderness in total safety and comfort, while also being able to spot some of the rarest Pokemon in Deprin's Pokedex.
For more information, you can visit the receptionist desk inside the Safari Zone's Visitor Center. You will also find a Pokemon Center, a food court, and sleeping quarters for anyone that is need of a rest. There is also a Kid's Zone to help teach children about the wonderful nature of Pokemon and the amazing region around them. Entrance into the Visitor Center and camping in the Safari Zone are both free. However, entering the Safari Zone with the intent to capture Pokemon costs a small fee. This fee helps fund conservation efforts and the Safari Zone Rangers--the protectors of the Pokemon and natural habitats of the Safari Zone. This small fee also gives you five special Safari balls (for use in the Safari Zone only). This fee is non-refundable.

Encounter Threads
Players are able to request encounter threads in the Safari Zone. These encounter threads are different than standard Wild Encounter threads. Please review the rules before requesting a thread.
Keep in mind: A Safari Zone Encounter thread costs 300 EXP. There are no bonuses available (Great Balls, Ultra Balls, etc.)

Actions
Actions will help you catch Pokemon! When you encounter a Pokemon, you need to respond through an Action. You have 3 Actions to use during your encounter with the Pokemon. Each Action will need to be written out in RP.
The moderator will roll dice to determine the outcome of the Actions and respond accordingly. The response will give you an idea of how your Action went over!
You can choose to do 0-3 Actions total. If you choose 0 Actions, you can either escape from the encounter or try to do a capture. You can attempt a capture attempt after 1 or 2 Actions as well. After the 3rd Action, you must either capture or escape from the encounter. If you do not choose either of these choices, the Pokemon will flee.
There is no specific list of actions you can take -- your character can try to woo the Pokemon however they like! The possibilities are limitless, but we'll go over some examples.
Example Actions:
Encounters and Items
There are only 5 wild Pokemon encounters in the Safari Zone for any one thread.
You have 5 Safari balls for the entirety of the thread. Use them wisely!

It is assumed that characters have berries and treats to share with wild Pokemon.
Keep in mind: A Safari Zone Encounter thread costs 300 EXP. There are no bonuses available (Great Balls, Ultra Balls, etc.)
