Your encounter has begun! A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
The Safari Zone was crowded, people flooding into the welcome area and exploring every nook and cranny, some flooding into the wild area. It seemed as if it would be impossible to find peace and quiet in the hopes of capturing any pokemon. How many people could even fit in here?
But any concerns of peace and quiet were forgotten from the moment one stepped into the actual wild area. It was massive. Fresh, crisp air and silence was everywhere. Sometimes one could hear someone shout in surprise at encountering a pokemon, but there was no need for fear or concern here...
That made the hike to the mountains even more pleasant. The mountains were large, almost capable of making one forget they were man-made. The ceiling of the Safari Zone didn't betray it was a screen, showing a bright, hurts-to-look-at sun and fluffy clouds moving by that looked so real... some of them were real!
Who knew what one would encounter out here! But no matter what, it would be a pleasant hike. What will you do?

❂ Rebecca Cardinal A nice hike into the new Safari Zone was just what Rebecca wanted, and she was glad not to be caught by rain or storm -- though she marveled at the fact that storms could even appear in what was technically an indoor area. It had to be so huge ... After consulting with some of the Safari Zone employees at the entrance, she decided on the mountains as the best place to search for birds. As she walked, Mimida flew ahead of her, wings spread wide, soaring on air currents. Though part of her worried that her Pokemon might get too far away, Rebecca watched her flight pattern with interest, mentally comparing it to the flying styles of other bird Pokemon she'd seen. And she hoped she'd see more today!

Morning || Clear A Wild Bagon Appeared! You have 3 actions to take. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
It was a beautiful day. The morning was just getting started and the bagon decided to have a nice berry he had found to start it off. He finished his meal, stood up, stretched, and got ready for that day's work: learning how to fly. These mountains were the perfect place to do so. There were high up cliffs and a good tailwind. He was sure he'd be able to fly today!
He took several steps back, holding out his wings, err, arms, and started out at that beautiful sky... and charge!
He took a running leap off of the cliff, getting a bit of air time before plummeting fast towards the ground. He smacked his head on some rocks, shattering the hard minerals as he went tumbling right to the feet of a human!
"Bagon..." he mumbled, shaking his head. He was fine. He had Rock Head, after all! That meant rocks broke before his head! He blinked up at the human but... oh! A bird!
His eyes began to sparkle as he jumped up and down, flapping his arms as hard as he could, hoping to join her in flight. He jumped up and down, trying his best.
Ugh, where were his wings!? He could fly, he knew he could! What will you do?

❂ Rebecca Cardinal "Oh!"Rebecca jumped back as the Bagon crashed to the ground at her feet, severely startled by the little dragon's sudden appearance. For all her doubts about Rebecca, Mimida came to her trainer's defense at once, landing between the Bagon and Rebecca with a harsh, "Gee!"But the Bagon didn't seem interested in fighting; he just flapped at her, as if mimicking her flight. His disinterest in combat put Rebecca more at ease, but he did seem fascinated by Mimida -- who tilted her head in confusion as the Bagon failed to either run away or offer her a proper battle. "Gee?"Casting her mind back to meeting Eon, Rebecca remembered looking Bagons up afterwards, out of curiosity -- and a particular factoid. She crouched down to be face to face with the Bagon. "You want to be a bird, don't you? To fly?"Beside Rebecca, Mimida looked at her trainer with skepticism. Yes, of course everyone would be a bird if they had the choice, because birds were amazing -- but this silly creature would never get there.
OOC: Rebecca's first action is to ask the Bagon about his dreams of flight! no one can stop me from spreading my wings

At the question from the human, the bagon stopped flapping his arms and his eyes began to sparkle. He nodded vigorously, pointing up to the sky and beginning to babble... or, it sounded like babbling to any human. At least the pidgey would understand him. He wanted to be able to fly, like his parents! They had massive wings and soared the sky like birds did! They were birds! Giant, blue birds that could spit fire! And he was going to do the same! So, the moment he got old enough to set off on his own, he found this mountain range and took it upon himself to teach himself to fly.
He knew what to do, after all, it was in his blood! He just had to keep jumping off the cliffs and--eventually--he'd soar through the air! The freedom that was up there in the big, blue sky! He jumped up and down at the thought, flapping his arms some more in the hope that he could take off.
The bagon decided then decided to show the human his progress. He held up his little arms in a 'wait here' motion as he darted away, back up the cliff to the very top. He waved at her as he reached the tippy-top and then backed up, taking another running jump off of the cliff edge. He flapped his arms and--for a moment--it seemed as if he would do it, he would do it! He would fly!
Except he didn't. As is true with most things, gravity pulled him back down and he smacked his head on some rocks again... good thing he was top-heavy! He shook himself off, not even stunned by the impact, and ran back to the human, jumping up and down in joy that he had done a little better that time! What will you do?

❂ Rebecca Cardinal Rebecca nodded encouragingly at the Bagon's babbling, able to understand the gist of it, his basic desire to fly. It was a desire she herself had felt many times, after all. She opened her mouth to comment, to encourage the little guy, but then he was speeding up the cliff -- and jumping off of it. "Oh no!" Rebecca rushed to the site of the Bagon's crash landing, afraid for the little Pokemon -- though if she'd thought it through some more, she might have realized that he'd crash-landed at her feet before and been fine, so he was probably OK. With Mimida fluttering after her, Rebecca found the Bagon sitting before her unharmed and happy. She hesitated, a bit confused. "Wow, you survived that fall ... You must be pretty tough, then. But you had me worried!"Frowning, she pulled her phone out of her bag. "Let me check something real quick ..."Opening the Pokedex app, she looked up Bagon, then its evolutions. She smiled at the sight of Saladmence's wide, soaring wings. "Yep, you'll definitely be able to fly someday, if you work hard at it. Though I'm not sure jumping off cliffs is the most effective way to practice ..."An idea was forming in her mind: the Bagon might not be a bird, but he wanted to be, which sort of counted -- and he was just so cute.

Morning || Clear You have 1 action to take. That had a slightly negative reaction! A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
Being told he would one day fly filled him with joy, but... not jumping off cliffs? The little bagon wasn't so sure about that. How else was he supposed to get used to the feeling of being in the air? Sure he fell down more than he flew--actually, he fell down every single time, but there couldn't be another way? He stared at the human, his little brain going a mile a minute, before he sat down and seemed to contemplate. Maybe... jumping into water? No, he'd sink, probably. His head was very heavy and the rocks weren't too bad. Sometimes you got banged up but it wasn't anything he wasn't used to. Maybe... a tree? No, not high up enough and tougher to climb.
Well, this was quite the conundrum! What will you do?

❂ Rebecca Cardinal Noticing the Bagon's confusion, Rebecca frowned, then quickly tried to recover. "I mean, a lot of Pokemon grow by battling, or just by getting more experience of the world around them. I'm not saying you have to battle if you don't want to, but ... if you wanted to come with us, and see more of the world, we'd help you evolve and learn to fly. Like Mimida here."Rebecca looked at Mimida, who, rather reluctantly, flapped her wings and fluttered up to a rock to demonstrate. Mimida didn't really care for this clumsy baby; she didn't see what he could possibly bring to the team. But she'd humor Rebecca for now. "It's up to you," Rebecca said, holding out a Safari Ball. "I'd love to see you fly someday."

Morning || Clear The Bagon decides to stay in the wild! Shoot! A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
The offer was good, and maybe the human had a point but... the little bagon thought about the offer, tempted to take it, before the thunderous roars of his parents brought him from his thoughts. He looked up to the sky and his eyes began to shine as he jumped up and down. Two salamence flew in a circle, eyeing the human and bird cautiously before one of them landed to take the little bagon up in her mouth.
The baby lizard waved sadly at the human. Maybe one day they would find each other again, but for now, his mom said no. The large dragon took off with the baby bagon to return home for dinner. But at least he met a nice friend! What will you do?

❂ Rebecca Cardinal "Oh, wow," Rebecca breathed as the two dragons descended. She'd never seen a Salamence up close before, of course -- she doubted anyone had -- and even if they weren't birds, they were amazing. (And they still had wings, so, close enough.) She felt lucky to have gotten this close to them -- and also more than a little intimidated, so she kept very still and quiet while they picked up their baby. He'd decided not to come with her, it seemed, but of course she didn't begrudge him that choice. He was just a baby, after all; maybe it was for the best. Mimida, meanwhile, was also a bit intimidated by the Salamences, though she would never admit it. But she did land on Rebecca's shoulder as they appeared, telling herself that she was protecting her poor helpless trainer as she went small and still next to Rebecca's nest. Then, as soon as the Salamence left, she was flying around again as if nothing had happened. Rebecca smiled at Mimida -- she hadn't missed the Pidgey's anxiety, but she wouldn't mention it -- and kept on her hike. no one can stop me from spreading my wings

Morning || Clear A Wild Litten Appeared! You have 3 action(s) to take. A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
Before too long on the hike, a small little black ball on a rock could be seen. It was very still for a few moments before the pokemon unfurled and gave a stretch, taking note of the approaching human being. The cat sat on their haunches and watched curiously, eyes flickering up towards the bird in the sky. Ah, it seemed lunch was a little out of reach. Well, maybe the human would have some food on them.
The cat jumped down and gave their cutest meow and purred, moving closer to try and rub up against the human's legs. Yes, fall victim to the cute... give food. For good measure, the Litten rose on their hide legs and pawed at the air, giving another adorable little meow. They were masters at this act, no one could resist it! Could they? What will you do?

❂ Rebecca Cardinal Before this moment, Rebecca would have said that she didn't care for cats. After all, they were birds' natural enemies. Mimida certainly didn't care for cats; she stayed in the air, glaring down with a harsh "Gee!"But Rebecca's supposedly dislike for cats hadn't considered the fact that they were so cute. She was by no means immune to the Litten's adorable act -- but she didn't realize it wanted food. Instead she said, "Oh, aren't you cute? What do you want -- do you want to be pet?"She bent down to pet the Litten, trying to scratch its soft little ears. Mimida, still in the air, narrowed her eyes. Taken in by the enemy ... Clearly Rebecca needed the Pidgey to look out for her.

Ugh... stupid humans... the cat wasn't about to act rude, however. He took the pet in kind before letting out another loud meow, trying to up the cuteness, ignoring the screeching flying pillow above in hopes that maybe the human would better understand that this kitty wanted food! Not pets!
He trotted around, just out of arms reach now, giving out another loud meow and a loud purr. Surely this human would catch on eventually... it wasn't like there were too many options of what a wild cat would want! It was as mother always told him: to get what you want, you sometimes had to play dumb, but eventually things would work out when it came to the two-legged, powerless creatures that were called humans. They were harmless for the most part, he understood, and unable to understand a pokemon's tongue, but he could be patient...
For now. What will you do?

Rebecca & - Mimida--- "Oh, you don't want to be pet?" Rebecca scrunched up her face, trying to decode the cat's mixed signals. Clearly it wasn't entirely displeased by her, or it would have just taken off. It seemed to enjoy being pet, but then not want it anymore. Maybe it wanted something else from her? But what? Mimida understood quite well the answer that eluded Rebecca: the Litten wanted food! But Mimida didn't care for cats, so she didn't make any attempt to enlighten Rebecca. Galla would have done so, just to be helpful, but Galla wasn't here. (At least, not outside her Pokeball.) "Do you want a treat?" Rebecca finally figured out, taking a Pokemon treat from her bag and offering it to the Litten.

Ah, yes! The cat meowed happily at the offer of food and gobbled down the treat. The taste wasn't... well, it tasted like it was probably meant for a flying type. This was indicated as the cat stuck out his tongue, but! He was not going to be ungrateful. He shrugged off the flavor of the treat and gave a happy meow and purr, stretching out to indicate that he was indeed satisfied, if not just a tad bit disappointed. But he had gotten what he wanted!
Was it a full meal? No, but it was enough for him to survive on until he went out hunting later that day. The woods were a stone's throw away down the mountain and there were plenty of little pokemon ripe for the eating.
He looked at the human and meowed again, sitting down on the ground. Now what? What will you do?
