Personality Andrew is work first, before personal life. Personal friendships weigh you down, Emotions are liabilities, and wearing your heart on your sleeve is a good way to get it broken. It's very little surprise that he doesn't have a large amount of human contact with the mentality that he's always at work. And it's even less of a surprise for him to be generally rather lonely. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't have emotions. Nor does it mean he's immune from them. Just... resistant. Once earned, his Ire is cold and calculated and he will stop at very little to track you down. Usually if you're a criminal. Once you have his trust, he trusts with all his heart. Breaking that trust is a one way street, he doesn't make the same mistake twice. But no matter how cold and inpersonal he can be, his heart is in the right place. He loves his job, loves protecting people and helping them. Loves to try and make the world a better place even if he knows just how horrible it is.
History Andrew was born in Hickory town to a well-off farmer family. His mother makes preserves out of what fruits they make and sells them, while everyone pitches in to make sure everything is fertilized. He was the oldest son, and has 4 younger siblings ranging from the age of 11, to the closest being 24. As the eldest, he was expected to take over the family business, keeping the farm running. But he wanted more. He knew that the region was suffering, while he lived a relatively very nice life in the small town. He wanted to be something that changed that. So when he was old enough, he went to Famine and learned how to be one of their policemen. He refused to work for Salve Co., He didn't trust them as far as he could throw them. Their private security was, at best, corrupt. At worst, negligent, in his eyes. After a term of service as a general policeman, he was promoted to the title of Inspector. Where he was, essentially, running most of the operations to try and clean it up. It was hard when they didn't have enough food. Enough anything. But he tried. He was an outsider, a well off one at that, and it didn't earn him a lot of immediate trust with the general populace. Then Pokemon came back. And his job got that much harder. He went home to Hickory town to help the proceedings there, to help people settle back in. Which is where he found the single pokeball that contained a little undersized Shroomish. Tucked in a little box in a dusty basement of the family home. His own partner, where he's hoping to be able to make a difference. Especially with everything going on...
Appearance Made from an old Deviantart maker thing. Obviously without the mega necklace, don't mind him. But yes. He has a Fedora. And Yes. I love it. C: |
