A nap was what this little Fomantis was supposed to be doing. But well, they'd gotten hopelessly lost too deep in the forest to get proper sunlight. So it wandered out, a little grouchy, towards the altar in hopes of reorienting itself. But alas, all it found was a human brushing through a rockruff's fur.
Who was quick to yip out a greeting, tail going a mile a minute. It got Diell's attention certainly, as he smiled gently over at the grumpy little thing. "Hey there. Hi." he put the brush down next to his bag, which he'd placed besides him as well. "I just read about you, you know." His voice nice and even and calm, "Aren't you supposed to be sleeping right now little one?"
"Fooo! Ma!!! Ma mant!!!" The small pokemon rose its tiny little leaves high in the air, clearly frustrated by the entire event. He smiled at it.
"I think we're a little too deep in the woods sweetheart. Here, Ra, wake up buddy." he gently shook the Abra, who rose his head with a little noise of complaint. "I know, you just fell asleep. Can you use Sunny Day again. We've got a little grumpy butt. Then you can go back to sleep for a bit." He soothed.
Ra sighed, before lifting his hand and making the area around him sunny. It was an immediate change of mood, as this new little Fomantis waddled over and settled in the sun, closing its eyes with a content noise. Diell smiled as the pair started their nap, turning back to Diana and her grooming. He was happy, at least. He'd caught a new friend, and made another certainly. And this little one could have a nap, while he rested his legs. Took care of his Rockruff, then check on the egg in his bag. Diana went and laid next to them to enjoy a nap in the artificial sunlight as well, curled in a neat little ball.
And Diell took out the egg, turning it over in his hands to make sure it was properly warm and safe and cared for. Only then did he put it away with a sigh. "A nap doesn't sound half-bad." He mused aloud, laying besides them and drifting off for a little bit...
Waking only when Ra shook him with his psychic power, blinking up at his pokemon. Smiling a bit, and sitting up to look over the scene. It was much later, and the Fomantis was sitting there idly grooming its little leaves. "You're still here, sweetheart! Hi, baby. Did you have a good nap?"
"Foo!" Much less grouchy, at least.
"You want some help getting out of the forest, baby? I can give you a hand. Or I can take you with out of the forest, if that'd be okay. You'd have friends, and it'd be a lot easier to find some sun." He offered, pulling out a pokeball and rolling it forward in offering.
