Eon bit the wild Larvitar hard -- apparently its rocky body was not as impervious as it had thought -- and the Larvitar jumped back, screeching, "Viii!" Why this? It just wanted to eat some nice dirt in peace so it could evolve and someday become the strongest Tyranitar ever to walk the earth. Was that too much to ask? Well, if this weird little baby dragon wanted a battle, then a battle he would get! After all, battling would also help Larvitar become the strongest Tyranitar to ever walk the earth. It turned and Leered intimidatingly at Eon, informing him of the crushing defeat that awaited him. Just ignore that cry of pain. That definitely didn't happen.
OOC: Eon's Bite hits for 6 damage, leaving the Larvitar at 7 HP! The wild Larvitar uses Leer and hits, reducing Eon's Defense by one stage, or 2 points, to 9. Larvitar: 7/13 Status: none Stat changes: none Held item: none Mya has 2/5 Ultra Balls. Sebastian has 4/5 Pokeballs. Mya has 1/1 out-of-battle heal left. Sebastian has 0/1 out-of-battle heal left. Eon gave a cry of battle as it seemed the larvitar was as interested in a fight as he was. Recently, his scales had started to grow itchy, and seeing a worthy combatant? It was enough to make his little dragon heart go crazy for a fight.
Eon took the Leer with pride and charged again, going in for another bite to the larvitar. He couldn't see it, but Mya was watching carefully, hands going towards her bag for another utlra ball in case this didn't faint it.

Another tough Bite, and Larvitar found itself on its last legs: it knew it wouldn't be able to continue much longer. So it had better throw everything it had into this attack ... It Tackled Eon hard, but not as hard as he'd Bitten it. Which meant, the Larvitar realized, that it was not going to win this fight. Well, at least it could say it had been bested by a worthy opponent -- this baby dragon was a lot tougher than he looked! "Tar," the Larvitar croaked, acknowledging Eon's strength. It might have lost this battle, but someday it would be that strong ... someday.

A firm tackle... Eon nodded at the larvitar's strength, returning the acknowledgement. A worthy opponent... such a shame it had to end this way...."Eon, stop!" Eon did so, stopping his attack in favor of watching the ultra ball fly overhead. Maybe... maybe this wasn't where this partnership would end? If the Larvitar so choose, maybe she could join them. But that had to be seen. Mya didn't have many ultra balls left, after all.

The Larvitar looked down in surprise as the Ultra Ball hit it on the shoulder. It had expected another devastating Bite, not this ... And then it vanished into the ball, which shook only once before the tired Larvitar capitulated. The light flashed; Mya had caught herself a new Pokemon -- a young warrior looking to someday become the strongest, the mightiest, perhaps even ... the best, like no one ever was. The exhausted Larvitar rested well in its ball, dreaming of its bright future.

Mya picked up the ultra ball. Huh. "Looks like you got a new training buddy, Eon," she said. Eon smiled up at her. A worthy addition to the team."Ok... let's get the fuck outta here." Mya shined her flashlight back the way they came, following their footsteps and letting Eon lead them, double checking at times to make sure Sebastian was behind her. "What an adventure, huh?"
