They chuckled, but had to nod in agreement. The last CEO was... hm, that was the toughest job Takara had faced, managing to convince that tyrant that they were the best option as CEO. It was a close call, but it did seem Takara came in at just the right time... amazing, that luck.
They opened their mouth to speak before their phone rang. Takara took it out and answered it. "Hello?" His face dropped. "Oh, uh, yeah it died? Like, 40 minutes ago? I've been looking for an outlet... Mhmm, no I'll find you alright, bye." They hung up quickly and sighed.
"My assistants have discovered my personal phone number. I better get going before they track me down." Takara stood up and Shri was quickly standing by his side, smiling up at Yew and giving a wave.
"It was great catching up, Yew, we should chat more! I'm sorry to show up and run but uh, let's get lunch some time! Enjoy those pokemon!" They quickly left, Shri on their heels. It was only a matter of time before the assistants found them.... perhaps the library was a good place to hide out?
