The World Tried to Burn All the Mercy out of Me Choice: A. Opening on the left
Now that is a nice haul! Mya pocketed the two types of candy she found while exploring this part of the maze, giving a smile to her team. Their candy bags were getting quite full, too! That meant the potential for a stomachache later, but it also meant the trip had for sure been worth it, if not for just bonding. Mya then considered the other options that presented themselves. They could always go back, and the more places they discounted as dead ends, the more likely they were to find their way out! With a hum, she turned to the opening on the left, her team following.

The opening on the left quickly turns back on itself and becomes a dead end, but you do find a bowl of candy at this dead end, including +1 Health Candy!
Coming out of that dead end, you know that everything to your right is a dead end except the opening across the corridor from you, which you haven't yet checked. You could also go left, which will take you back the way you originally entered this area.
Do you a) take the opening across the hall or b) go left?

The World Tried to Burn All the Mercy out of Me Choice: A. Take the opening across the hall!
So, two options. The place Mya had yet to go or the place she had already been. Well, it'd be a shame if the newest option put her closer to solving this thing and she didn't take it! She could always go back if there were only dead ends down the way. She took the path across the hall, feeling Eon's footsteps beside her. Gosh, he was a heavy boy! She wondered how badly a Body Slam or Tackle would hurt from him, especially since he was basically a canon ball. That would have been a cute matching costume, but Mya only found orange paint.Oh well! It was what it was. Maybe next year.

Heading across the hall, you discover that the opening leads to a T-shaped intersection -- but both sides of the T immediately dead-end. However, you do find a bowl of candy on the left side, giving you +1 Tough Candy.
Once you've pocketed your prize, you turn back and consider the hall for a moment before realizing that you've explored every option here and they're all dead ends. That established, you head back down the right turn to the right, going back the way you came before you entered this section of the maze.
You find yourself at a plus-shaped intersection with a dead end to your right and the way you came from the maze entrance ahead of you. That leaves you with only the left path, which you take, passing an alcove in which you find +1 Health Candy. Then you follow the hallway as it turns left and spits you out into another crossroads.
To your left is a dead end. To your right, a long hallway ends in a right turn, and it also has three openings on the left. You can see from here that the first opening is a dead end, but you can't tell where the other two might lead. There's also an opening straight ahead of you; that path immediately turns left.
Do you a) go straight and take the left turn, b) go right and take the right turn at the end of the hall, c) go right and take the second opening, d) go right and take the third opening, or e) go back the way you came?

The World Tried to Burn All the Mercy out of Me Choice: B. Go Right, Second Opening
That was a good part of the maze down pat! Right? Maybe. At least that meant they were making some headway! Mya pocketed the candy and continued the march with her team, pokemon happily in tow. They would find their way out of here one way or another! They had to! So with that, Mya considered her newest options and hummed to herself. Right, ok, so... she could go right and take that second opening!

The second opening is a dead end, but not an empty one -- there's a Pokemon lying on the ground within. Upon seeing you, the Poochyena abandons its nap and jumps up to bark at you. Behind it, you can see a hole where it must have dug its way under the wall to get here.
You're not sure whether the Poochyena's barking is playful or aggressive, but it's definitely highly energetic, jumping up and down and spinning around as it watches you.
Do you a) try to catch the Pokemon or b) shoo it away?

The World Tried to Burn All the Mercy out of Me Choice: A. Try to capture!!
Mya starts at the sight of the pup, her team also seeming to be rather surprised. Vulcan stood up on Eon's shell to get a better look, but Mya held up a hand. They were not going to battle here."Hey! Sorry for interrupting your nap, bud," she said, kneeling down to get a good look. Aw, what a cute little guy. She smiled and took out some candy from her pocket and unwrapped it before rolling it towards the little pup. "That's an apology, some candy that we found!" She thought for a moment. "If you want, you could come travel with us! You could play every day and have some great adventures!" Mya didn't know if the pup would like her, but she knew there were people out there that would... plus they were such a cute pup! Hard not to love with that energetic attitude! She offers a pokeball.

Quieting and seeming to calm down, the Poochyena gobbles up the candy and considers your offer ... then spits the candy back out, turns, and squeezes under the wall to escape the maze. Apparently it didn't like that flavor! Oh well.
Now you face the choice of going forward, where the hall ends in a right turn and there's an opening on the left you could take. You could also turn around and go back.
Do you a) go forward and take the right turn at the end of the hall, b) go forward and take the opening on the left, or c) go back?

The World Tried to Burn All the Mercy out of Me Choice: A. Forward, right turn end of hall
Aw, that was a shame, but it was also alright! Mya knew the odds were low in such an environment. With her team now ready to move on, she decided to head on forward to take that right turn. The exit to this maze had to be in some direction! It was a good thing she had blocked time off tonight for such an exploration, and some of her traveling had granted her a bit of money for a local hotel instead of camping out again. It would be nice to enjoy a bed while her team enjoyed their treats during this adventure. She was keeping in mind some candy for her other pokemon as well.

Taking the right turn at the end of the hall takes you through a little zigzag and then into a dead end. Aww. But all is not lost -- sitting in the dead end is a bowl of candy, including +1 Quick Candy to add to your hoard.
Then you turn around and come back out to the hallway where you originally made the right turn, looking back down it in the opposite direction. There are three openings on what is now your right -- formerly your left -- but you know that the second and third ones are just empty alcoves. Alternately, if you follow the hall straight, you'll reach a plus-shaped intersection. The straight path at that intersection is visibly a dead end, and you remember that the left path is the way you came. The right path, however, is new ground.
Do you a) take the first opening on the right, b) go straight and go right, or c) go straight and go left (back the way you came)?

The World Tried to Burn All the Mercy out of Me Choice: C. Go straight, go right
There were paths from where Mya had already come from, she mused as she pocketed the candy, but would it make more sense to try new paths to see if they led her any closer to the exit? Maybe, eventually, she would have exhausted all options except the right path to take... so, yeah might as well. With the team of dragons in tow, she decided to go straight and take that right turn to discover what laid beyond it.

After turning right at the intersection, you take an immediate left turn, then walk down a hall and take another left turn, an immediate right turn, and another left turn -- but not before passing an alcove with a bowl of candy in it, where you get +1 Mighty Candy. You pass a few more twists and turns before the hallway finally spits you out at a T-shaped intersection.
To your right, there's a dead end, but there's also an opening on the right you could take. To your left, the path immediately turns left.
Do you a) go right and take the opening on the right, b) go left and take the left turn, or c) go back?

The World Tried to Burn All the Mercy out of Me Choice: B. left, left turn
Pocketing the candy, Mya made the choice to take the left and left turn. If she couldn't find her way out, someone would come find her, right? Either that or they would have to break the rules and damage the walls, but Mya wasn't going to do that no matter what. Eventually they would have to find their way out of here, if by following their own footprints back. Eon left pretty obvious trails anywhere he went. That wasn't a bad thing! But Mya eyed Vulcan worryingly. He seemed to be getting an attitude at the maze walls. No patience on him yet. That was fine, he'd learn.

Going left, you quickly discover that what you took for a left turn is nothing but a short alcove. But at least there's a bowl of candy inside! You get +1 Mighty Candy.
Coming out of that dead end, you face a choice of whether to go forward -- straight through the hall's left turn, into unexplored territory -- or back, by taking the opening on your left.
Do you a) go straight and take the left turn or b) take the left opening and go back?

The World Tried to Burn All the Mercy out of Me Choice: A. Straight then Left
More candy! Gosh, at this rate some would have to be saved for later on. Scooping up Vulcan into her arms to calm the now disgruntled dragon, she kept pressing on, deciding to head into unexplored territory. Might as well try to find all the hidden bowls of candy that she can while she's at this, eh? That or the exit? She didn't even mind anymore, this was just a fun little outing!Taking the path, she hoisted the axew against her waist and carried him like a foot ball. The tiny little thing gave up the struggle, allowing himself to be carried.
