Berries
While wandering the Deprin Region, you may occasionally find berries as random event popups. (These popups can also contain Pokemon, as described
here.)
When you find a berry, it goes into your inventory, which you can view by clicking on "Inventory Menu" next to the "edit" and "quote" buttons in a post on an IC board or the Pokemon Center board. You can also view your inventory on your profile.
For one of your Pokemon to hold a berry, you must establish that they are holding that berry in
your first post in your battle thread, when you include your team's statblocks. Then, you must also
use the berry on that post by clicking on
Inventory Menu > Use Item and selecting the appropriate berry.
Having your Pokemon hold a berry will consume that berry and remove it from your inventory, even if your Pokemon does not actually eat it in the course of the battle.
Your Pokemon may eat a berry and attack on the same turn, but berries are consumed when a Pokemon eats them; they cannot have their effect twice. Mods may sometimes decide when your Pokemon automatically eats a a berry.
Below is a list of berries and their effects. Silver and gold berries do not exist in the Deprin Region.
