History

Katrina's childhood was good enough. Her family didn't have a lot, but she never went hungry and wasn't exposed to much drama. Her dad spent the days logging the trees that grew around the Broadmarsh while her mom stayed home, watching over and homeschooling three kids.

Growing up, Katrina spent a lot of her free time wandering around, prodding through the mud and wading around in the water, on her quest for treasure. Particularly, small balls that could easily fit in one's hand, often with a red top half and a white bottom half: Pokeballs. And as soon as she found one, she would release the prize inside. The two second glimpse of the Pokemon was well worth the effort.

As her grandma explained it, the disappearance of Pokemon was Arceus's way of punishing mankind for taking advantage of them. And Arceus knew best. But Katrina couldn't help but be curious about Pokemon. They were just so interesting. So magical and amazing. A piece of history.

Katrina's interest in Pokemon began to die off once she entered her teen years. She accepted the fact that Pokemon were gone and weren't coming back. No use in dwelling in the past. After years of relationship problems, her mom and dad broke up. Her mom moved away to Summerhill and Katrina followed her.

After graduating high school, she settled into a little house of her own back on the edge of the Broadmarsh. Her adult life has been rather uneventful so far, but with Pokemon back in this world things are heating up.

Appearance

Katrina stands at 5' 8" and is a normal weight for her height. She prefers comfort over style. Her wardrobe consists mainly of t-shirts and jeans, most often passed down to from her mother. Katrina's only pair of shoes she owns right now is a pair of waterproof hiking shoes. Her wavy, brown hair reaches a little past her shoulder blades. Prone to frizz, she like to wear it up in a ponytail during hot weather. A shower once or twice a week is good enough for her.
