Welcome to the Safari Zone!
Salve Co. is pleased to announce the completion of one of its environmental projects: The Safari Zone! This area has been carefully crafted to protect and nourish Deprin's rarest Pokemon in a natural environment while also allowing people a safe place to experience the outdoors.
In celebration of this grand opening, Salve Co. is allowing every trainer a chance to enter the Safari Zone for free, granting them an attempt to capture some Pokemon with the official Safari ball!
Don't worry if you can't get in on this grand opening! The Safari Zone is open year round, 24/7! With its own Pokemon Ranger staff and welcome center complete with a Pokemon Center and food court, this is a great place to hone your wildlife survival skills.
But please keep in mind there is no battling allowed in the Safari Zone! This is for the safety of the pokemon, staff and visitors!

How to Participate
Each character can participate in the event for one Safari Zone encounter, but be sure to read this thread! There are some differences between Safari Zone encounters and wild encounters.
If you are already in a wild encounter, don't worry! You will be free to participate in this event without worry. The EXP cost have also be waived for the duration of the event!
As an added bonus, we will allow everyone participating to ask where they are the most likely to find a specific type of pokemon! For example, if you want to know where you are more likely to encounter Ice type pokemon, staff will tell you a location where your odds of encountering that pokemon will be higher. Don't forget to ask if you have a specific type in mind!
Remember: You can only take one Pokemon with you into a Safari Zone encounter thread and battling is forbidden.

When you post your form, your moderator will respond and set up your encounter thread in the location you specified. If no area was specified, you will begin in the Forest.
